5th: Rojas Still Looking

> Day 3: 5, 16-07 (15, 55-14) It was not the fast and furious morning like he’s been having, but Rojas managed to put together a solid bag to stay in contention.

“I had no fish until 9:30 and I needed to go catch a bass,” he said. “I finally did that and then it started rolling, but they were small ones.”

He slowly upgraded through the day and with 15 minutes left caught a largemouth that he weighed in along with four smallmouth.

“It just got better as the day went on,” he added. “I moved around and changed areas and caught one or two here and there.”

As for Sunday’s game plan, he needed some time to ponder his options as he faces a deficit of 2 1/4 pounds.
